Four ohm resistor bypass from Martin Leach

For those who want to use the 4 ohm tweeter-attenuating resistor the bypass cap is recommended to compromise the tremendous smooth vocals with the transient air of the treble without the resistor.

However, for those who prefer the dynamic midrange of the resistorless option, the signal contaminating steel U clips ought to be replaced. I use 2" length of generic 12ga OFC cable w/ gold plated RS banana plugs, but obviously better the better the parts the better the result. I just found this such a vast improvement in liquidity, that I didn't proceed further. I, instead, was more concerned with removing the rest of the steel from the circuit (the terminals).
